Cold or Hot

I like my coffee not too cold, not too hot, but warm.

I think for me, it completely depends on the weather and the time of day. To start my morning off right, the coffee has to be extremely hot. But when the weather is nice, I love a strong iced coffee as a pick-me-up in the afternoon. In fact, I'm having a Starbucks' iced coffee at this very moment!

What an interesting question! I've never really given it much thought. I'm sort of a rough-n-tumble coffee drinker, and I tend to go with my "gut." If I'm in the mood for cold coffee, by George I get myself a cup 'o cold coffee! If I want it hot, I get it HOT! Now, I understand the OP's point about burning your tongue. My plebeian approach: three small cubes of ice per 8 fl. oz!

When it's cold out, hot coffee. When it's hot out, iced coffee. This is the rule I live by.
