Peet's Coffee

Postby George » 04 Apr 2011, 16:39

Out here in California, Peet's is a popular chain of coffee stores, and I believe they are expanding into some other states as well. I've heard good things about their coffee, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Has anyone here tried this brand?

I have never tried Peet's coffee, but I have seen it advertised in local sales papers lately. I also saw a coupon for it not long ago. I am interested to know people's thoughts on it too.

I've tried some of their coffees, and did like them. I've also heard that the company was established long before Starbucks, and has been very popular, until Starbucks won almost the wole world with its coffee.

I tried their Guatemala San Sebastian from The Americas selection once
Image - it was sooo delicious! But haven't had the possibility to try anything else from then, unfortunately :-(

P.S. And I still don't understand why they didn't manage to gain as much popularity as Starbuks did???

I thought they were from Seattle, as Starbucks is.
Anyway, I've heard they are really good but never tried them, since I do not like experimenting - which is one my biggest problems :-(
