Ugh I am not sure I really want to bring up memories of bad coffee but I can't resist. The worst coffee so far was a horrible instant that tasted like it was made from cardboard. I am okay with quality granules but that nasty cheap powder that looks like floor sweepings ... you can keep it.
The worst coffee in my life was coffee made by my sister's son: it was burned, watery and cold But it was made with such love and care that I couldn't refuse it! But since then I always refuse drinking coffee at my sister when I hear it is going to be prepared by my nephew
I make serious coffee - so strong it wakes up the neighbors
Hi! I have the same story, like Helen's, but it was my brother's daughter and coffee was hot (hot water from valve) with 7 tea spoons of sugar and yoghurt (instead of milk). yes, she is quick child. She knows that I love coffee and wanted to surprise me!
Coffee Should be Black as Hell, Strong as Death, and Sweet as Love
That was a coffee (no name ) brought from overseas by one of my "best friends" - probably, to make me feel bad since we don't like each other. But I soon realized that wasn't a true coffee but a chicory drink, so I gave it her back
Hey, Berta, what is the name of the "coffee" chicory ? Chikoroff ? I never tried it! but I read that it is very healthy drink! can you decride the taste?
Some things in life are better rich. . . coffee, chocolate, men.
Folgers. Hands down. Although I did get an all natural organic coffee one time that was pretty bad. I honestly can't remember the brand name - I think it may have been store brand. I got it from Sprouts.
Normally I would say that instant coffee was the worst, but the coffee house at my university is horrible at hot coffee. The ice coffee is alright, but it's like the employees never grind the coffee enough. I pretty much boycott hot coffee of any sort from that place. It's called Java City.
Just this past weekend we had coffee at a friend's house that was the worst coffee I have ever tasted. It was an off brand of coffee from Aldi's grocery store. She had just started a new grocery budget so I didn't say a thing.
Gardennut-- Did your friend enjoy the taste of it? I understand going on a budget, however, I would not sacrifice taste of coffee for the budget. I would either drink less of it or find a better tasting brand I could afford.
It was the coffee I made for myself when I was a wee boy. I didn't know how to make coffee back then so I mixed everything in the wrong proportions. This experience had put me off coffee for many years until I tasted the right coffee.
