Caffeine culture

Their interaction

Caffeine culture

I enjoyed reading this article http://www.ndsmcobserver.com/viewpoint/caffeine-culture-1.1648181 about the effects of caffeine on our cultural interactions. I can't say I advocate mixing an energy drink with coffee but I definitely identify with a lot of what they say.

Sorry, I didn't like the article. First, she says coffee bring people together and shows it as a positive side, then she states caffeine makes us addictive and it is a prove of our weakness (my interpretation). So what was the point of the article? I didn't understand...Sorry if I was rude in way, I didn't mean that. :-)

I would have to agree with the author's observation that it seems to be a female pastime to come together over coffee rather than a male one. In my circles, and this is by no means a scientific observation, it is the women who schedule times for coffee with their friends....for the men, getting coffee is a brief stop in their day. Many of my friends who are stay at home moms will get together with others in the neighborhood one morning a week over coffee in fact. I have another group of friends who are homeschooling moms who will often go to a coffee house to just have some "mom time' over coffee. Never happens with the men.

Coffee is just an excuse for us, women, to talk with friends and enjoy our life... :d

Well, that's all about us, women. We do like to chat with friends and while talking, we need to chew or/and drink something. :d Don't know why women do this more often than men but that's our nature. ;)

I made friends with a couple of people when drinking coffee at cafes, so I think it really impacts our social life, as well. ;)

The impact of caffeine or simply the thing that a lot of people enjoy drinking coffee or tea unite us?

I like coffee, all variations, day and night. That's it. I am a coffee person, and if you call this my culture, then that is what it is. ;)
