JAMACIAN BLUE MOUNTAIN ROASTING

Postby paco1250 » 09 Apr 2012, 15:14

All and any comments welcome.
I just purchased some JBM and am wondering what roast level and brewing methods those drinking this are using. :-?
A brief discription of the cup produced would also be appreiciated.
Thank you in advance for your input.

I roast the Blue Mountain beans in a hottop. I regularly roast 250 grms to about 15-16 mins. max, with a roast development between first crack and the onset of second (if I go that far) of 3-4 minutes.

Hello guys, I usually drink Jamaican Blue Mountain at my local coffee shop but never brewed it myself. Though I do like it dark roasted -the best cup I've ever had :d

I like the medium roast - it's never too bitter or too sweet. ;)
