Great names for coffee shops?

Postby BostonBean » 21 Jun 2011, 07:52

I have seen a lot of coffee shops named "Common Grounds", "Uncommon Grounds", and "Java Joe's". I love to see really creative, unusual names for Cafes. I think the most interesting name I have seen is "Dancing Goats Coffee House". Has anyone else come across any other coffee shops named with real flair?

Great topic, BostonBean!
A few good names that I've seen over the years:
Black And Brew
The Daily Grind
Java The Hut
Fuel
The Espresso Lane
Sure, some are a little cheesy, but the fact that I remembered them definitely says something good about their marketing!

I especially like "Black and Brew" and "Java the Hut" because those names made me laugh and also conjured up some interesting mental images! I thought of a couple more names I have seen that I thought were interesting: "Jitters" and "Cup O'Joy".

I once heard someone suggest "The Bump & Grind" for ladies, and I thought that was funny. To top it off, all staff members would be shirtless hunks!

I like this one, really! It reminds me of a nice cozy place, with several people around and a pleasant private atmosphere. :-)

I heard of a "Drinking Goats" cafe but never seen it in real life, so that may not be true. ;)
