Hotel Coffee?

Postby Icemocha » 05 Jan 2011, 18:01

Currently I'm staying at Days Inn for a while while I complete my student teaching. Everyday the housekeepers provide a coffee maker in the room and some packets of coffee to drink. this isn't name-brand stuff of course, but for hotel coffee, it's not too bad.

Days Inn uses a brand called Colombian Supreme, 100% Arabica. It's a bit bitter when you start drinking it but gets better once you get used to the taste. I wish it was a stronger blend of coffee, but can't be too picky in a hotel!

I'm not a big fan of hotel coffee - generally I bring my own and use their coffee maker ~o) . Although, the last hotel I stayed in had a Starbucks :d .

I pack my own coffee as well and brew it in the room. Sometimes the hotels will have decent coffee at the breakfast buffet but very rare. The only time I do not pack my coffee is when I travel overseas to Europe. Europe equals excellent coffee everywhere.

Hotel coffee is usually a boil-up from the night before /:)

I never drink coffee at hotels, that's why I usually try to stay there as little time as possible ;)
