I went out for breakfast with a friend yesterday and we ordered coffee. I had barely gagged down a half cup of it before the waitress topped it off. I couldn't even drink it it was so burnt tasting and disgusting that no amount of creamer or sugar was going to help. Have you ever been in this predicament?

Javafreak I feel your pain! I've had the same experience and sometimes I will complain and ask for something else in compensation. More often though I make sure everyone knows not to bother with that place for coffee.

I have had the same experience with the restaurant I go to around the corner from my house. I tried it on 3 separate occasions and now I get orange juice or hot tea and will drink coffee at home!

Oh, I know what you mean. People think Waffle House has good coffee, but I think it's nasty as heck. I love WH's food but can't stand the coffee, so I'll usually end up getting a Coke or some water.

Most of the coffee houses around my hood are not up to standard. After a few experiences tasting really bad coffee, I have decided to stick with one restaurant that serves really good coffee.
