How old is too old?

When it comes to having a coffee pot sit while you are drinking your first cup, how long will you let it sit to finish the pot before you don't like the taste of the "old" coffee? I'm funny about mine. I don't like letting it sit for longer than 30 minutes. Otherwise it tastes yucky to me.

About two hours is my limit. I used to be able to drink it after longer than that but after working as a waitress and always having fresh coffee I can't do it anymore.

One hour is enough for me either at home or office. I'm working in the office and my Boss always want a fresh coffee. It's in her rule book to serve fresh coffee all the time. If coffee is more than an hour in the coffee pot, the taste is no longer the same.

For me it's pretty much as soon as the coffee just feels too cold. I have tried to heat it up in the past but that just makes it seem more acid-like to me.

My coffee pot goes off automatically after being on for two hours. I don't usually warm up any that is left over after that unless I desperately need a cup of coffee and just can't wait for more to brew.

I drink only one cup and then simply throw away the excess. However, I have a little secret - I like to prepare the exact amount of coffee I am going to drink at a time, so I shouldn't throw anything. ;)
