Guys, have you ever tried or do you often drink decaff coffee? Is there any point in drinking coffee without caffeine? Do you still like the flavor?
I did try it once.. I found it to be too acid for my taste and it felt like the color was the only thing in common with the real coffee.
What's your opinion?

Hey Ginga! I don't really drink decaffeinated coffee beause though it is stated that it contains less caffeine than a regular one, it still has it. Moreover, it loses its natural aroma and taste, a majority of qualities for which we enjoy coffee. That's why I'd better drink my usual cup of coffee instead of 5 to 10 decafs a day and will receive all the fragrances I enjoy :-)

Ginga, I used to drink decaf coffee some time ago for a long period of time. I thought it has less impact on my health than the regular one. Then I read an article which exploded this myth - I used to drink from 5 to 7 cups a day which is not lesser harmful than drinking 1-2 regular. So I decided to stop this autodestruction and got back to the regular coffee (no more than 2 cups per day).
As regards decaf's taste, it really differs from coffee with caffeine but as I drank it for a while, I got used to it. It was really hard for me to get back to the regular one but now I'm ok. thanks ;)

I really like decaffeinated coffee - not that I drink it everyday but when I feel I need to stop filling my organism with caffeine, I brew myself a cup or two of decaf and everything seems right ;)
