Is Black Coffee healthier than coffee with all the fixin's?

That's what my mom says. She skips the sugar and the cream and goes straight for black coffee right out of the pot. Now, I do like coffee, I really do, but it's too bitter without all the good stuff in it! She insists that it's much healthier though. Sure, we put sugar and cream in coffee, but does it really make that much of a difference?

I don't know but I like my coffee sweet. If there are good effects of coffee then I guess it won't disappear if we add a little (more for me) sugar and creamer. If your mother is health conscious, I would recommend her tea instead of coffee. :d

I love peanut butter and coffee, so I bet I would like that!! I think black coffee is better for us than coffee that has been "doctored up".

Of course pure black coffee is healthier because everything that we add into our coffee is superficial, and we don't need it.
