Coffee and lymph nodes

I have on a few occasions detected lumps between my armspit and breast area. Being concerned, I immediately went to the doctor, who asked me if I drank a lot of coffee. I told him that I did. The doctor told me that you can get lumps in your lymph nodes from too much caffeine. He suggested that I cut down on my coffee intake, or just drink decaffeinated coffee for a few days. Suprisingly, it worked! I really don't know how the lumps come about, though. Has anoyone else ever had this problem?

Hi twolumps, I have never faced this kind of health issues but if your doctor said so, it may be true. Though I doubt it's from all types of coffee, may be a brand which is not too healthy for you...

As long as you're not a woman (I mean, cancer), you shouldn't have to worry....I suppose those lymph nodes come from some other cause, not coffee... but who knows....at least I have never heard about lymph nodes caused by coffee :-\

I have never heard of this before. There is no doubting it is true lymphnodes result from too much caffeine if the doctor suggested so. I will try researching on this as it would explain why I have these nodes too.
