I have seen some amazing coffee art. For the life of me I can not figure out what is used when making art in the froth of the coffee. How is that done?

That is a great question. I do good to even make a cup of coffee the color I want it to be, much less have some artwork in it!! I would love to know the answer to this too.

I'd imagine it is used just like watercolors would be? I don't see how you can get such a huge variety of colors out of coffee beans though. I mean different shades of brown perhaps but what else...?

They take some cream, make foam out of it, and then begin to create their miracles - just like that, it sounds simple, isn't it? ;) :d

Nothing extraordinary there but it takes some practice and skills to create a coffee art. No one is able to do it on the first try.

I don't know how exactly but I'm sure you need to gain a lot of experience to do it.
