I do photography on the side and I love the ones you guys have posted here. How could I recreate something similar to that so I could do photos of it for my business?

Hi ShielaB!
What kind of photos you'd like to take for your business? If it's a latte art, you'll need to become a barista at first - to be able to create these beauties or ask some friend or aquiantance who can do such things, to do it for you.....

Do you think coffee houses would be interested in buying photographs of cups of coffee with like coffee beans next to them? I don't have an espresso machine so I couldn't do the ones with the foam. What about making foam by whipping cream?

I think that's good idea. I'm pretty sure they might be interested. You can surely learn to make this beautiful foam yourself, but that will take time and patience.. :)

It's always a good idea to create something beatiful and gorgeous and let others admire your art. I would suggest that you take some lessons about professional photographing and buy yourself a professional camera. The audience really likes a professional work rather than an amateur one. Good Luck! :-)

You know what would be really cool? Creating an artistic coffee masterpiece that is also a "scratch-n-sniff". Now THAT would be whimsical wouldn't it?

That's a pretty fun idea JavaJunkie. Are you thinking of using real ground coffee to paint with so that when it dries people can still smell the coffee? It's worth experimenting and if you can publicise it who knows where it may lead? ;)

Heh heh heh, not I. I'm not at all artistic. I was just throwing the idea out there in case someone wanted to snap it up. :YMSMUG:

It seems like it would be a workable idea, but I really don't think adding the grounds to the paint would emit the aroma of the coffee. I think perhaps the paint smell is stronger. I'm not at all sure how it would be done. I guess if the colors are dark enough, one could just paint some weak coffee over the finished & dried masterpiece.

I think you could simply take these pictures for your business from Google search, it won't object. :d
Like this one, for example, isn't it nice?
