Does anyone have a good summer ice coffee recipe? I only want to add spices, not dairy products. I am up for any kind of recipe as long as it is low fat and calorie.

I don't know of any recipes for Ice coffee that doesn't involve a lot of fats/calories. Remember that if something is low fat, that doesn't mean it's good for you. They make up for that by loading it with sugars, which eventually becomes fat.

When I make iced coffee, I just take the coffee I have brewed and make ice cubes out of it. I then put some premade coffee in the fridge to cool down and then just pour it over the coffee ice cubes. Then I flavor it the way I like my hot coffee.

I have made iced coffee with spices such as cinnamon before, but to be honest you need milk, even the low fat type, to make it taste good. Better to do as someone else suggested and just make your own.

I really like to stay away from dairy, but that is alright because I can use almond or soy milks in it. Thank you for all of the other ideas.

Since you said you can use soy or almond milk I have a great recipe. It does not have spices but it is still great.

Make your coffee as normal with water
Add a couple of teaspoons of chocolate Ovaltine while it is hot and stir for about 20 seconds.
Add roughly 8oz of soy or almond milk and ice cubes.

We just use coffee that's leftover from breakfast. The most important thing is that we make our ice cubes out of leftover coffee, so it never tastes watery.

I use this recipe: http://www.chicacave.com/the-secret-to-making-a-perfect-iced-latte as the base for all of my iced drinks. From there I try out different things like I added some hot chocolate mix to create a mocha. Instead of using regular milk, I choose to substitute Almond Milk, since I am lactose intolerant.
