What is the best way to steam milk at home? I don't have a cappuccino maker, but love steamed milk in my coffee. I have heard of people using a magic bullet, but I'm not sure how to make that work. Any advice is welcomed.

As far as I know, creating steamed milk is virtually impossible without the right equipment. You can, however, warm the milk and then use a whisk (and a quick arm) to create a decent froth. Good luck!

To make steamed milk at home:

Get a microwaveable jar with a lid.

Fill the jar half way with milk, or as much as you want in your coffee, but leave room to shake the milk around.

Shake the jar between 20-40 seconds. The milk should be frothy.

Take the lid off and microwave for 40 seconds. The froth should come up to the top.

Now pour into the coffee.

What kind of picture, aiza11? I don't see any, or am I blind? ;)
