Coffee pot cleaning

Postby Java12 » 17 May 2012, 12:36

How often and how do you clean your humble coffee pot? I throw mine in the dishwasher once it starts to look dingy...about every two months or so. The glass comes out looking brand new!

I clean the outside of the coffee maker about once a week. I rinse out the pot daily but I put the pot in the dishwasher once a week and it gets it all sparkly. I also run vinegar and water through once a month to clean out the inner workings.

You should be careful with the coffee pot, most are very fragile, and putting your coffee pot in the dishwasher is a no-no.

Hey guys! I clean my coffee brewer 2-3 times a week - but not too carefully, and once in two weeks more thoroughly - I hope it's enough for my pot. Otherwise, I have to immediately buy a new pot ;)

I don't think dishwater is a good choice for your pot. Clean it manually, it will start looking even better. ;)

I want to be as it is today, then there is nothing to do as much as possible.
