After trying a dozen different types of coffee makers (maybe a little exaggeration there)we have gone back to a basic cafetiere where you plunge the top in to make the coffee. So much easier!

I'm not sure I even know what you're talking about! I use a standard drip coffeemaker. My mom uses the kind that sits on the stove and boils to make the coffee. I haven't heard of a plunger-style. Do you have a link so I could see it?

I would like to see a link as well. We use a drip coffee maker as well. I have found that I like the one that has a carafe instead of a hot plate. We also like the reusable filter.

Coffee continues to be one of the most demanded products in the world. Regardless of how you like your coffee or where you purchase it from, coffee comes in a variety of flavors and with a variety of adding for individual flavor. It is imperative to use the right method with the correct type and grind of your coffee. You have to choose the best coffee maker that will do the job. But with so many different types of makers out there, your job is not easy at all.

After trying so many brands and mixes, went back to my local coffee shop - they do it so much better than me. ;)

Same for me here, never been a real barista, so let the professionals do their job. ;)
