I like to give my beans a nice long roast because I like a nice dark and strong coffee. How long do you like to roast your beans for?

Hello, driven! Welcome!
I roast them till they're ready....When I know they are ready? - I control this process and of course I stir the beans while they're roasting. I like medium roast, so when the berries are brownish colored, I stop the process and start grinding :-)

I like mild roast because darker roast give too bitter coffee, and I don't stand it.

I roast my beans until the first crack - I've recently discovered that this way the beans are perfect for me and seem to bring heavenly pleasure to my palate when drinking coffee from them... :d

It may seem odd but I like my beans as black as night and strong as Titan ;) So I choose French roast which is the ultimate level of roast and the strongest one.

You must be like me then. Other people do not want to drink my coffee! Still I am a good host and have different coffees for different people.

I finally tried roasting at home and it took something about 10 mins. But I like medium roast, so you will probably need about 15mins to reach that dark color.

Good luck with that! :)

The time required might depend on roasting method. And of course if you want darkest roast that will add a minimum of 5 mins. Might take even 20 mins in the whole, so I hope you have enough patience.
