Hi ginga, just roast it as you can and feel: read the instruction first, put the beans into the roaster and make everything exactly as the roasting guide advises. Whether it works or not, it's a great experience for you. Just don't forget to describe us the process and the result after you finish....

No I didn't buy any special equipment yet, I was wondering whether I can use my usual kitchen staff for that before I choose something special.

What do you mean with "one tree is not enough", CoffeeLover? What has a coffee tree, which is in fact a bush, common with home roasting? Could you please explain?

Hi Ginga,

you might use any stove top roaster, like popcorn popper for instance. The secret is in constant mingling so that beans get even roast. You will need some practice anyway before you learn how to do it properly.
